Through consultation with the council and community groups, a defunct bowling club was redeveloped into community meeting & function spaces, together with a cafe and playground. The walled bowling green makes an ideal protected environment for the playground & local artist collaborated to create imaginative play structures. 

High trussed roof framing was stripped back and exposed to provide a great multi – purpose community space. The natural attributes of this coastal location became the focus for the cafe, together with the northern outlook over the playground.
