The ironbark basin adjoining the famous surfing destination of Bells Beach is the location of the renovated facility.

The original log cabin was altered and extended, taking reference from the surf coast theme.

The curved wave-like roof forms provide elevation and identity for the new entry main living area and rear recreation room.

The entry is linked back to the parking area by a covered verandah roof shaped like a sail, sweeping up to allow light into the bedrooms whilst presenting views out and up into the tree canopy.
