In 2003 Patrick Shipping and Patrick Transport consolidated their operations on the one site adjacent to the Devonport Shipping Terminal. The new facility provides 288m2 of office accommodation, 2700m2 of warehouse, 300m2 of hazardous materials bay, 650m2 of heavy vehicle and servicing garage, a Gatehouse and Administration building, and a Staff amenities building together with extensive Civil and infrastructure works.

Clean simple building forms were employed to reflect a functional facility that is designed to cater for fast and efficient materials handling and freight logistics between Tasmania and the mainland.
